About:

With over two years of solo performances under his belt, Ben has established himself as a versatile and engaging artist, bringing a fresh take to both classic hits and modern chart-toppers. A skilled drummer by trade, Ben is the current drummer for the iconic Fun Lovin' Criminals, frontman Huey Morgan, but his true passion shines through in his solo acoustic gigs.

Drawing from an extensive musical background, he crafts performances that cater to all demographics, blending covers from the ‘60s through to the present day and covering a wide range of genres. Whether setting the mood with chilled restaurant vibes or pumping up the energy with upbeat, crowd-favorite songs, his style is dynamic and engaging.

Armed with a loop pedal, Ben enhances his performances with a unique groove, adding depth and texture to his acoustic sound that keeps the audience captivated. His rhythmic sensibility adds a unique layer to his live shows, ensuring the crowd is always in the moment.

An expert in crowd engagement, Ben knows how to read the room, interacting with audiences and even taking requests to tailor each performance to the mood of the night. Whether it's a relaxed dinner setting or a lively night out, Ben brings a personal touch and a professional polish to every show.

FAQ's:

Can we have a later finish?

Whilst most venues are licensed until midnight, all of our performers are flexible so start/end times can be adjusted to suit you.

Can we have the act set up early?

Of course. If you want to avoid creating gaps in the day or disturbing the ambience if everything is in the same room, we can help find a suitable time for your act to arrive and set up.

Do you offer different lineups?

Yes! You can add a keys player and/or a saxophonist if you wish.

Will you play our First Dance Live?

Yes, wherever possible! Ben will learn your first dance song providing enough prior notice is given and the song is within his style. If this is not possible he will be happy to play your first dance via his PA / DJ equipment.

Boring (but useful) bits:

As standard with all bookings through the Groove, you'll have unlimited opportunities for consultation with our team of dedicated wedding and event planners. You can also chat directly with your act to discuss musical choices and specific logistics for the day of your booking.

To confirm and book, you'll initially receive confirmation that the guys are available on your date following your enquiry. On the same email, you'll also be sent a booking form which you can fill in to populate our system with information regarding your day. You'll then receive a deposit invoice for 20% to secure the bands attendance and complete your booking. Following both these steps, you'll get a confirmation pack with a link to book a meeting with one of our dedicated entertainment planners, some checklists and ideas of musical options to think about, and the next steps involved in your booking. It really is that simple.
